How to travel to Graz:
Located in the south of Styria, some 30 miles north of the Slovenian border, Graz has an international airport just outside the city which connects the city to several transportation hubs like Frankfurt, Munich or Vienna. Regular bus shuttles and a local train service provide easy transport to and from the airport. Vienna Airport has a train and bus connection to Graz as well.
The central train station of Graz is well-connected to the city centre by public transports (tram and bus lines respectively). The city of Graz itself is not very big, with most sights and accommodation options situated in the city centre or connected through the dense network of tram and bus lines.
The weekly ticket for public transport in Graz costs 16,70 Euro, with several cheaper options for shorter periods being available.
How to find accommodation:
Graz has a large number of hotels available for visitors at various rates, from youth hostels and budget accommodation hotels (40-50 Euro/night) to a wide range of upper middle class (70-80 Euro/night) and even luxury hotels (100-130/night). Pricing in Graz is reasonable, even in the city centre.
