Digital Editorial Approaches to Medieval Charters
In September 2022 the iForal project, which studies the royal grant of municipal rights in the XII and XIII century in Portugal organised a workshop on approaches to digital scholarly edition of medieval charters. Georg Vogeler presented the ideas of our project on “Standards to be considered in a Virtual Research Environment for Digital Editions of Charters” (slides) and Sean M. Winslow talked about “Charter encoding in the TEI P5 with the CEI_TEI ODD”.
